Congratulations to the Lincoln County High School speech and debate team for its second place finish at Marshall University two weekends ago and fifth place finish at the State Tournament this past weekend. Not bad for a group that stared blankly at those of us trying to explain what speech and debate was three short years ago. Best wishes in particular to this year’s seniors Alex Collins, Steven Hoffman, Cody Cremeans, and Sara Hoke.
