West Virginia GREEN-UP Council

DCT Advisors LLC assisted WorkForceWV in obtaining a $6 million State Energy Sector Partnership grant from the U.S. Department of Labor and looks forward to working with WorkForceWV on initial project start-up and facilitation of GREEN-UP Council activities over the next several years.

The GREEN-UP Council seeks to develop an energy sector education and training plan for West Virginia that aligns with the State’s energy plan and supports job expansion and creation in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, alternative energy and advanced traditional energy fields.

West Virginia Community and Technical College System Master Plan

The West Virginia Community and Technical College System Master Plan will provide the strategic goals, objectives, priorities and strategies for the System for 2010 to 2015.  It is being developed with the assistance of a steering committee, institution presidents and academic and workforce professionals and a workforce committee with representatives from business, industry and labor.

Integrated Pathways to Adult Student Success (I-PASS)

I-PASS is a holistic program aimed at expanding enrollment in programs connected to high-demand occupations, particularly among adults; strengthening adult basic education and developmental education; and improving student persistence and completion rates.
